The below itinerary is from the 2009 event, 2010 is expected to have the same format

at Inverallochy Playing Fields

 

 

Monday 3rd August

Children’s Treasure Trail – Start from the Marquee at 6.00pm & return to same by 7.30pm, £1.00 PER PERSON entry fee (which includes free juice & crisps).  Prizes for the winners.   

 

Tuesday 4th August

Wheelbarrow Race (kids & adult) – BRAND NEW event - prizes for the fanciest dressed, fastest and most entertaining!.  Start at 6:00pm (ish) at entry to playing fields next to Football Pavilion.  (All entries / enquiries to Peter Tait or Michael Summers ASAP)

Junior ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ Show –In Marquee, only following on after Wheelbarrow Races at 7.30pm (ish).  (All entries / enquires to Elaine Buchan by 31st July at the LATEST please)

Horse Racing Night – In Marquee, following on after Jnr ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ Show at approx. 8.30pm (incl. licensed bar) with hamburgers & refreshments etc. on site.

 

Wednesday 5th August

Junior Bingo – In Marquee at 2:00pm - £1:00 per book

Quiz Night & ‘Talent-less’ Show – In Marquee, starting at 7.00pm (incl. licensed bar) £2.50 PER PERSON, UPTO A MAX OF ‘6’ IN A TEAM pay at door, with hamburgers & refreshments etc. on site.  (Talent-less show follows at approx. 9:30pm). 

All entries / enquiries to Gary Tait or Peter Tait by Mon 3rd Aug. AT THE LATEST.

 

Thursday 6th August

Junior Disco – In Marquee from 4.00 to 6.00pm, £1.50 ENTRY fee

Prize Bingo – In Marquee at 8:00pm (incl. licensed bar), £8.00 per book, with hamburgers & refreshments etc. on site.

MAGICIAN / ILLUSIONIST - Following on from Bingo, starring Mr Garry Seagraves£2.00 ENTRY, IF NOT PLAYING BINGO.

 

Friday 7th August

Fancy Dress Parade – Open to all ages & starts from school grounds at 6.00pm (EVERY ENTRY RECEIVES £1)

Will be held inside Marquee if weather inclement. 

‘Friday Marquee Dance’ – dance the whole night away with live music starring the fabulously lovely  ‘FEEVA’ from 9.00pm till 1.00am, with hamburgers & refreshments etc. on site.  TICKETS £8.00ea (incl. licensed bar).  Admission is by TICKET ONLY

* Free bus transport back to St Combs and Fraserburgh leaving 1.30am sharp.

 

      Saturday 8th August (from 1.00pm at Playing Fields)

Gala will be opened at 1.50pm by - Mr Jimmy Ritchie

Attractions include – Giant ROCK CLIMBING WALL activity, GIANT Laser Quest, TWO Bouncy Castles + other inflatable's, FIRE ENGINE appliance, CIRCUS & MAGIC ACTS, 2wit2woo OWL & RAPTOR Rescue Display, Fraserburgh ARCHERY Club, RBL PIPE BAND, Waste Awareness Bus, ‘IT’S A KNOCKOUT COMPETITION’, Kick-Boxing and Karate displays, Arts & Crafts, Baby Show, open 5-a-side football and watch out for our special STAR WARS guests (& get your picture taken!!!!!)

Many stalls including – Target Golf, Whisky Wheel, Sponge Stocks, Lucky Dips & many other various attractions

Food Galore  – Kippers, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Teas, Crisps, Juice, Ice Cream & strawberries, Sweeties and the superb fresh ‘FISH STALL’ with all sorts of fresh products.

‘Marquee Extravaganza’ - dance the whole night away with live music starring the fabulous ‘OFF THE CUFF’ kicking off from 8.30pm till late.  TICKETS £12.00ea (incl. licensed bar).  Admission is by TICKET ONLY & STRICTLY FOR OVER 18’s

* Free bus transport back to St Combs and Fraserburgh leaving 1.30am sharp.

All entries to Marquee before 9pm on SATURDAY night

will receive a complementary ticket for entry into a £200 prize draw!!

 

Sunday 9th August

Invercairn Gala Praise – In the Invercairn Community Hall from 3.00pm with your favourite host Ken Cowe (of Waves Radio).
